It's awful to hear this. Dr. Dre's oldest daughter stated in a new interview that she is homeless and living in her rented car. Despite begging her music mogul father for aid, she has not received any – and she is also a single mother of four children.

According to LaTanya Young, her father was sending her money until January 2020 to cover her rent and as an allowance, but that has now stopped, and she says the only way she can connect with her father is through his staff.

"I'm homeless, and I've been reaching out to my father for assistance," she explained. "His lawyer has stated that my father does not want to assist me since I have spoken negatively about him in the news."

"I'm taking odd jobs to make ends meet right now – I made $15 an hour as an assembler at the warehouse. I'm doing my best to keep my head above water. I've been in debt for a long time "She stated. "I have friends and family who will let us come back and forth, but I live out of my car the bulk of the time."

She also claims to be driving for DoorDash and Uber Eats to supplement her income. Meanwhile, it doesn't appear that she is making any headway in her attempts to contact with her renowned father.

Tatiyana, 16, Rhiana, 13, D'Andre, 8, and Jason, 3, are her four children. Now that the oldest children know who their grandfather is, they're curious as to why they've never met him.

"I'm simply trying to talk to him and see if he wants to talk to his grandchildren," she explained. "My children are old enough to recognize him. They are taken aback that he refuses to work with them."

Fortunately, the kids are living with friends, so LaTanya doesn't have to worry about them being homeless on top of everything else.

Lisa Johnson, LaTanya's mother, was Dr. Dre's partner until LaTanya was five years old. That, she claims, has made learning about his recent support deal with ex-wife Nicole Young all the more painful.

"He was supposed to pay for our college and health insurance, and he never did," she explained. "My mother believed he never kept his half of the bargain."

Of course, we're only getting one side of the story here - who knows what's actually been going on behind the scenes between LaTanya and her father over the years? But her condition does sound dire, so perhaps she'll be able to find a way to improve her circumstances for herself and her children soon, with or without her father's assistance.
