What brought her and Adam Levine together?

Behati described how she and Levine first met in an appearance with Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. She stated that they first communicated over email after Levine obtained her contact information from a mutual acquaintance. He was seeking someone to participate in a music video for Maroon 5.

The pair announced their engagement in 2012, and after two years of dating, they married in San Cabo Lucas, Mexico. The wedding was conducted by none other than Jonah Hill. Dusty Rose and Gio Grace Levine have joined them in the world since then.

The couple just sold their Beverly Hills house, furnishings, and everything, to relocate closer to Los Angeles. The new residence is "quant" by the standards of super-rich mansions. In an interview with Architectural Digest, Levine stated:

“We didn’t want a palatial McMansion. That’s just not who we are. We were attracted to this place because it felt homey. You could tell that kids had lived here before.”

This is the couple's second home remodel in less than two years.

Levine, whose net wealth is estimated to be about $120 million, spoke with AD about leaving their recently remodeled Beverly Hills home. “Beverly Hills simply starting to seem hectic,” he explained. It's very central, so we felt completely surrounded by the city. We wanted to live somewhere peaceful, away from the noise and stress of traffic.”

Kathleen and Tommy Clements, mother, and son of Clements Designs, designed the previous residence. They were also contracted to perform the improvements for the property. They did, however, acknowledge Prinsloo and Levine's hands-on approach, stating, "Adam is an obsessive design junkie." He and Behati prefer to live with beautiful things, yet in a relaxed setting.”

They also feature a large art collection from well-known artists. Works by Richard Prince, Henry Taylor, Mary Corse, Albert Oehlen, Mary Weatherford, and, most notably, Rashid Johnson and Raymond Pettibon are among them.

They've also had pieces commissioned by their friends Sage Vaughn and Andrew Zuckerman. When discussing the many works of art, Levine adds, "When things are chaotic culturally, as they have been over the previous half-decade, it tends to encourage great art." Behati and I are emotionally attached to everything we own.”
